As one of Major League Soccer's premier clubs, the Philadelphia Union has built a reputation for developing elite talent through its first team, Union II, and nationally recognized Philadelphia Union Academy. With multiple teams training and competing from the WSFS Bank Sportsplex in Chester, Pennsylvania, the organization required a smarter sports equipment storage solution capable of supporting its growing player development programs. Housing multiple teams within a shared equipment room meant thousands of pieces of gear - including uniforms, soccer balls, cleats, travel bags, field equipment, and training essentials - needed to remain organized, protected, and readily accessible every day. That's where Diversified Storage Solutions stepped in, designing a customized high-density mobile storage system that transformed one shared space into an efficient, high-performance equipment room.

Diversified Storage Solutions partnered with the Philadelphia Union to design a customized storage solution centered around a Spacesaver Standard Mobile Mechanical Assist High-Density Storage System, complemented by Rousseau drawer storage. Working closely with OSports (an architecture, planning, and design firm specializing in sports, recreation, and entertainment facilities) and representatives from multiple teams, the DSS team developed six unique storage elevations to accommodate a wide variety of equipment while maximizing every square foot of available space. Rather than implementing a one-size-fits-all solution, the system was carefully engineered around each team's daily workflow, ensuring every item had a dedicated location while maintaining the flexibility to evolve alongside the organization's future needs.
